DC Studios is reportedly planning to break news and announce some projects at this week's San Diego Comic-Con.
While Marvel and other franchises/properties are set to have their panels at the highly-anticipated convention, DC will be sitting out as James Gunn won't be able to do a presentation due to scheduling conflicts.
However, as it turns out, we are still likely to hear some exciting announcements from DC Studios despite the lack of a panel or a showy presentation to unveil the DCU slate.
DC Studios Plans to Break News at San Diego Comic-Con
A recent report claimed that DC Studios has plans to break news at this week's San Diego Comic-Con.
DC will still show up at the convention as their TV shows such as The Penguin, Harley Quinn, Batman: Caped Crusader, My Adventures with Superman, and Kite Man: Hell Yeah! are scheduled to have their panel.
While the shows are not part of the DCU, there is a possibility that the news and announcements will be unveiled during their respective panels.
It is unknown yet what kind of announcements are DC Studios reportedly planning to announce at the convention and whether it will be as splashy as some fans might be hoping.
Considering that we're now a year away from the official debut of the DCU, it would be great to hear some announcements and news about what they have in store for the franchise even with the lack of a Hall H presentation.
Hopefully, we will hear news about some of the projects that they have not announced or castings on their films and TV shows that are in development, especially with some of the rumors that have surfaced around the web.
