Constantine Could Get A Second Season Starring Matt Ryan On DC Universe

It's been almost four years since NBC canceled Constantine but it might finally be time for a second season. A new report suggests that Warner Bros. is looking to revive the Matt Ryan series and it could continue on DC Universe.

According to We Got This Covered, sources have revealed that Warner Bros. has plans of pursuing Constantine Season 2. Not surprisingly, the studio wants Ryan to reprise his role as John Constantine. However, it is still unclear whether the show will air on The CW, where the character is already a part of Legends of Tomorrow.

Although it is possible that Constantine Season 2 will be brought to The CW, some believe that it would be better to bring the series back on DC Universe. After all, it would give writers and producers more freedom to explore the darker side of the occult detective. However, an announcement has not yet been made so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Constantine originally aired on NBC but was canceled after one season. Since then, fans have petitioned to bring the series back to no avail. However, Ryan had reprised the role in the animated show on The CW Seed, the animated film Justice League Dark, and in Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Nevertheless, people want a second season and hopefully, we'll get one really soon.

DC Universe is currently enjoying the success of Doom Patrol, which is doing surprisingly better than Titans. Hopefully, the show's success will help push for Constantine Season 2 to air on the service.
