Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order could be the video game fans of this franchise deserve, which can mean a lot since people have differing views when it comes to the Star Wars fandom and EA. Still, what has been promised of the game sounds interesting and the gameplay demo in June should interest those that are having doubts about this title.
When Jedi: Fallen Order was first revealed, several reports claimed that the game would have combat inspired by Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. However, during an interview with Press Start, Jedi: Fallen Order creative director Stig Asmussen revealed that the game might have From Software influences but it will not have punishing combat like most Souls games or other similar titles like Bloodbourne.
Making a game accessible is definitely one way to interest fans who are hoping to check it out. Sure, some love hard games like Dark Souls but it's a bit niche and is definitely an acquired taste. They are far from bad games but if you don't like one of them, you won't like any other entry.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comes out on November 15. All of the Dark Souls games are available now.
