Kristin Cabot’s husband, Andrew Cabot, has finally spoken out following the huge Coldplay kiss cam scandal at a concert in Boston in July.
At the time, Kristin, a former HR executive at Astronomer, was caught canoodling with her boss, the company’s former CEO, Andy Byron, despite both being in relationships. Now, Andrew has broken his silence on the affair.
What Did Kristin Cabot’s Husband Say About Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal?

After Byron’s wife, Megan Kerrigan, filed for divorce in August 2025 following the Coldplay kiss cam scandal, rumors circulated that Kristin had also filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew.
However, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts entrepreneur and CEO of Privateer Rum, told People that Andrew and his wife had been “privately and amicably separated several weeks before” the concert.
"Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening," the spokeswoman continued. "Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued."
"No further public comment will be made," she added.
What is the Coldplay Kiss Cam Scandal About?

The kiss cam scandal happened during Coldplay’s concert, which featured loved-up couples watching the show. The camera panned to a man hugging a woman tightly—Kristin and Byron.
When they realized they were being broadcast to everyone on the big screen, they quickly let go and tried to hide their faces.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin then called them out, making an intriguing assumption: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
As it turned out, they were indeed having an affair, despite both being married to other people at the time.
Byron had been serving as CEO of Astronomer since 2023, while Kristin was the company’s Chief People Officer.
Following the scandal, Byron resigned from his position, which the tech company announced in a post on X.
"As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," the statement read. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."
"The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO," it continued.
Kristin reportedly followed suit, though no statement was issued. Interim CEO Pete DeJoy also addressed the scandal in a statement:
"The events of the past few days have received a level of media attention that few companies—let alone startups in our small corner of the data and AI world—ever encounter," he wrote. "The spotlight has been unusual and surreal for our team and, while I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name."
"To our team: thank you for your resilience & commitment to building something great," he continued. "And to our community and customers: thank you for your trust. We won’t let you down."
Since then, both Byron and Kristin have yet to comment on their alleged affair.
