Chris Evans Reveals Avengers: Endgame BTS Look At Old Captain America

There is little doubt that Avengers: Endgame had several plot twists that nobody was expecting. However, the best one came in the last few minutes of the film when Sam Wilson met the (much) older Steve Rogers, who gave him the Captain America shield. Although several fans assumed that an elderly actor was cast for the role, Chris Evans has just revealed that it was actually still him playing Old Man Cap in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.

Evans shared the behind-the-scenes look at his makeup being done for Endgame. The photo shows the Avengers: Infinity War star wearing a bald cap and a lot of prosthetics that made him look like a nonagenarian. Take a look at his tweet below.

Interestingly, Evans captioned the picture as being "halfway there," suggesting that his makeup wasn't done just yet. It looks like the makeup team still had to work on the actor's mouth area when Evans decided to take the snap.

Evans is hardly the first Endgame cast member to share BTS photos and videos from the film. Stars like Josh Brolin and Robert Downey Jr. have been posting some awesome never-before-seen footage from the MCU movie now that the spoiler ban has been lifted.

The whole idea of Steve going back in time and staying there to marry Peggy Carter has certainly opened a new possibility for more Captain America stories. Although we would be happy to see more of Evans as Cap, we'll have to wait until Marvel Studios offers an official update about the possible spinoff project.

Avengers: Endgame is still screening in theaters around the world.
