What Happened to Reze in Chainsaw Man?
Below, we discuss spoilers about Reze's fate in the Chainsaw Man manga.
Reze is a Bomb Devil Hybrid from the Soviet Union who arrived in Japan to steal Chainsaw Man's heart.
Without spoiling much, she and Denji grow fond of each other and contemplate the possibility of a different life.
Her exact feelings are ambiguous, but most fans conclude that she cared about Denji despite her initially selfish motives.
While Reze's arc concludes in her apparent death, the ending of Chainsaw Man Part 1 tells a different story.
It is revealed that Reze, along with many other Hybrids, including Barem, the Whip Devil, and Katana Man was kept alive and brainwashed into attacking Pochita.
Following the devastating final battle which concludes in Makima's defeat and Denji's victory, Reze's fate remains ambiguous.

The Possibility of Reze and Denji's Reunion in Chainsaw Man Part 2
For the longest time, fans did not believe Reze's return to be possible as we weren't even entirely sure if she survived the time skp.
However, the latest Chainsaw Man manga developments have sparked an interesting fan theory.
As we brace for the prophesied Devil Apocalypse, the Chainsaw Man Church reveals its true motivations.
Barem (also known as the Flamethrower Devil) along with Sword Man and the Whip Hybrid are revealed to still be around as prominent Chainsaw Man Church members.
Their main goal is to get Denji to transform into Chainsaw Man at all costs, ending his pledge to lead a regular life.
So, where does Reze fit in this scheme? Currently, this remains unknown, but if all the aforementioned Hybrids are alive, Reze could also return.
Fans of Denji and Reze as a couple are theorizing that, since Reze doesn't seem to be participating in Barem's scheme, she could actually help Denji instead.
But if this is the case, why hasn't Reze appeared yet?
Some readers believe that Nayuta's control could have erased Denji's most positive memories of the Bomb Girl, although this is a bit far-fetched.
Denji does remember Reze, and even contemplates on how all women he has liked have tried to kill him.
At this point, however, the narrative seems to have moved on to focus on Asa Mitaka and her complicated relationship with Denji.
Fans' preferred ship likely colors their theories of whether Reze and Denji could and should reunite.
Some readers fell in love with Reze's character while others have moved on from her enough to prefer Denji's awkwardly cute dynamic with Asa.
