The upcoming MCU installment will mark Sam Wilson's first leading movie as the new Captain America after officially taking the mantle at the final episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
While most of the plot details are being kept under wraps at the moment, the film is set to have a grounded tone and explore the conspiracy thriller genre that harkens back to The Winter Soldier.
Captain America: Brave New World Releases Teaser Trailer
The official teaser trailer for Captain America: Brave New World was finally released today, and it gave us our first look at Sam Wilson's first big-screen adventure as the new Captain America.
The almost two-minute-long preview showed glimpses at Harrison Ford's MCU debut as President Thunderbolt Ross, Giancarlo Esposito's mysterious mercenary character, and the return of Tiamut from Eternals.
Some of the returning familiar faces that are also spotted in the trailer are Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez), Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), and The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson).
The trailer concluded with a brief peek at the Red Hulk, who has been heavily rumored to be a major part of the film for the past few years.
Aside from the teaser trailer, Marvel Studios also unveiled the first poster for the film which shows the iconic Captain America shield being held by the Red Hulk.
Based on what we've seen in the trailer, it looks like they are living up to the promise of the film's conspiracy thriller premise and it will be as action-packed as we are expecting in a Captain America movie.
We will likely be able to get more details about the film in Marvel Studios' upcoming San Diego Comic-Con Hall H presentation later this month.
Captain America: Brave New World is slated for release in theaters on February 14, 2025.
