The latest trailer for Spider-Man: Far from Home had teased a Multi-Verse, and though it's likely just a lie from Mysterio, fans have already started getting excited for the idea of multiple live-action Spider-Men. Just in, internet artist BossLogic has presented his mock-up of a Spider-Man: Into the Multi-Verse film.
Check it:
It's basically a reused poster from the original Raimi Spider-Man 3, but it brings in Tom Holland's Spider-Man as well as Miles Morales in the background. While Sony did try (and succeed) with the multi-verse concept with animation, it may be a while before we can get it in live-action. One thing's for sure, if they ever do this kind of film, I'm sure people will want to see the return of both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men.
Going back to Far from Home though, there's still a possibility that Mysterio could be telling the truth, and that would be the twist—that he's actually a good guy, but I'm sure a lot of fans will think that it would ruin the character. I mean, no one saw the Mandarin twist in Iron Man 3 coming, but when it did come, a lot of people were pissed that the film would just do that to Iron Man's most notorious nemesis in the comics; that's like revealing that Voldemort was Malfoy all along.
For now, catch Spider-Man: Far from Home when it hits theaters July 2.
