Blue Beetle star Xolo Maridueña has confirmed the recent rumors surrounding Kumail Nanjiani being cast as the DCU's Booster Gold.
For the past few weeks, rumors have emerged online that the Eternals star has been cast to play the fan-favorite hero in the James Gunn franchise. He will debut in the Booster Gold TV series for Max.
So far, DC Studios has not confirmed the claims that were made in the report, and fans are continuing to anticipate any potential confirmation soon regarding the actor's DCU casting.

According to a report, Maridueña confirmed recently in GalaxyCon that Nanjiani has been cast to play Booster Gold in the DCU franchise.
He also expressed his excitement about the prospect of Blue Beetle and Booster Gold teaming up in an adventure.
As most DC fans know, the two heroes have a popular team-up in the comics and there has been clamoring to see them work together on screen.
So far, James Gunn, who usually debunks rumors on his social media accounts, has neither confirmed nor denied Nanjiani's reported casting.
