It looks like Avengers: Infinity War is officially making its way to Disney+ next month.
While Avengers: Endgame has long since been part of Marvel's roster of films on Disney's new streaming site, the first installment in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie has been spending its time on Netflix. Marvel was still locked on an exclusive agreement with the streaming giant when it had released Infinity War for streaming, and so Infinity War has been noticeably absent from Disney+.
Now that the deal with Netflix is coming to an end, Infinity War can finally join the rest of Marvel's offerings on Disney's streaming site. According to a report by Heroic Hollywood, the film is set to release on Disney+ on June 26, completing all of the MCU's offerings on the website. Marvel fans can finally stream the Russo Brother's entire Avengers story in one place.
Streaming has been particularly important to Marvel fans during the COVID-19 pandemic. Forced to stay at home to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Marvel fans have been subscribing to Disney+ so that they can binge-watch Marvel movies and look for Easter Eggs.
Not only has the COVID-19 lockdown resulted in some pretty passionate debates about the MCU on Twitter, but it seems like it has gotten fans to review the MCU and create insane projects like a scene-by-scene timeline of all of the events in the Marvel film franchise.
We wonder what else Marvel fans are going to come up with waiting for the COVID-19 pandemic to end.
Phase 4 of the MCU is going to begin when Black Widow premieres on November 6, 2020.
