Marvel fans might be eagerly looking forward to Avengers: Endgame, but there might actually be some problem with the film's production. Principal photography for the film may have long since ended, but it seems like Joe and Anthony Russo continue to work on reshoots of the movie.
Speaking with Empire (via We Got This Covered), Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan reveals that she had just shot a few scenes for Endgame two weeks before her interview with the publication. The actress even goes as far as jokingly calling the production the "Infinity Movie" because work on the film just never seems to end.
"My last day was two weeks ago. They keep doing reshoots. We call it ‘The Infinity Movie.' It just never ends. I think we're going to be at the premiere and they're going to be playing it and we'll act the last scene live because they won't have finished it," the actress told the entertainment news outlet.
The word reshoots might sound alarming to fans, but honestly, there's nothing to be concerned about. Reshoots are a normal part of any kind of production. Extensive reshoots don't sound that shocking knowing how large the production of Avengers: Endgame is. Besides, as the culmination of the past ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there's a lot riding on Endgame. It would only make sense for the Russos to constantly make adjustments to make sure that Endgame comes out just right.
So many Marvel fans are looking forward to Endgame, wondering what might become of their favorite Marvel heroes.
Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
