For the past few years, Marvel fans have been wondering how Ant-Man star Paul Rudd manages to look perpetually young. Is it the Quantum Realm that's keeping him ever so youthful? Does he have special ant-food? Maybe it's all that size-shifting.
Now, Rudd has decided to address his eternal youth during a reunion for the movie Clueless at this year's Chicago Comic And Entertainment Expo (via ComicBook.com). For those who aren't familiar with the film, Clueless is a 1995 teen comedy where Rudd played one of his first major roles. Speaking alongside his old castmates Alicia Silverstone, Breken Meyer, and Donald Faison, Rudd was asked about his seeming immortality.
"I'm 80 years old on the inside," Rudd answered, pointing to his chest before hitting up another joke, "In here, pure darkness — and a little moisturizer."
Marvel fans are constantly joking about Rudd's eternal youth. Even Avengers: Endgame co-star Mark Ruffalo can't help but feel envious.
Of course, aside from his boyish good looks, we're hoping that Rudd retains that boyish energy of his, because it looks like Ant-Man's going to play a pretty big role in Avengers: Endgame. Not only does it seem like Ant-Man is going to teach Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and the rest of the Avengers how to travel through time, but the trailers for the film show Scott Lang doing a lot of action sequences in Endgame – something which doesn't come as a surprise, considering that the Avengers are going to need all the help they can get.
Avengers: Endgame is set for release April 26, 2019.
