Tony Stark's death was one of the most heart-wrenching scenes in Avengers: Endgame and hearing his recording in the case of his "untimely death" was definitely a tear-jerker. Although the recording was already emotional as it is, there might have been an alternate version to it that will hurt just as much.

Taking to Instagram, Jimmy Rich, Robert Downey Jr.'s personal assistant, has shared a behind-the-scenes footage of the actor rehearsing his lines for an iconic scene in Avengers: Endgame. "Whatever it takes, whatever it takes," the actor said in the clip. "No fear, no regrets. Part of the journey is the end."

The "whatever it takes" line has been mentioned quite a few times in the movie by Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, and Natasha Romanoff. However, the "no fears, no regrets" line is actually something new and wasn't mentioned by Iron Man in the film nor in the trailers. But the last line, "part of the journey is the end," was one of the most unforgettable lines from the movie that he mentioned in the recording.

Although most of the lines weren't actually new, it was still a line that included some of the most iconic lines from the film's narrative. Regardless if they went with this line or the one in the final cut, that scene certainly got the fans reaching for the tissues.

As for whether or not he'd return to the MCU, Downey revealed in a previous interview that "anything could happen," but he has "hung up" his guns and is "good to let it go." In addition, he thinks that "there would have to be a super compelling argument" for his character to make a return once again after his death in Endgame.
