How was Art the Clown resurrected in Terrifier 3? Surely, the bloody ending of the sequel should've put him to death for eternity. But nope. He returns for the perfect threequel to end his slasher trilogy.
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for Terrifier 3, so proceed with caution.
How Art the Clown was Resurrected in Terrifier 3
At the end of Terrifer 2, fans were convinced that Art the Clown had already died after being decapitated by Sienna (played by Lauren LaVera). However, as the post-credit scene unfolded, Art the Clown was mysteriously resurrected.
As common as bringing the titular slasher back to life is, how come Art did? Terrifier 3 opens with Art returning to his former glory, leading fans to question how he is still alive.
Terrifier 2 saw to it that Sienna, who was revived through her father's sword, took her revenge and decapitated Art herself. She saved her brother's life, unbeknownst to her that that was not the last of the slasher clown.
Well, as it so happens, the answer comes from the post-credit scene of Terrifier 2.
Victoria herself picks up Art's severed head and writes her name with Art's on the wall using her blood. She miraculously gives birth to Art's head in the psychiatric ward she was held in and eventually attaches it to his body.
In the process, Art comes to life and kills the nurses (Leah Vaysey and Chris Jericho) as a teaser of what's to come in Terrifier 3, aka that he is not done with Sienna's story yet.
Now, five years, later, Sienna is still suffering from the post-traumatic event of the sequel. Still, she visits her Aunt Jessica, Uncle Greg, and their daughter Gabbie.
Little did they know, in those five years, Art the Clown and Victoria remained in an abandoned building, only to be awakened by the men in charge of demolishing the property.
Art attacks the first man he sees and ventures into the world again to torment Sienna's seemingly peaceful life.
