Army of the Dead has just premiered in selected theaters and Zack Snyder wants to celebrate. The Justice League director has just shared an awesome behind-the-scenes photo featuring Dave Bautista on the set of the zombie heist film.
Snyder took to his official Twitter account to post the photo of himself with Bautista on the set of Army of the Dead. Check it out below.
It's great to see that things were all bright and happy on set although the movie has a tense and dangerous premise. Needless to say, we're looking forward to seeing Army of the Dead in theaters and on Netflix next week.
The release of Army of the Dead is certainly something to celebrate. After all, the project has been in development hell since 2007. Although it was finally acquired by Netflix and handed over to Snyder, the film continued to face trouble during production.
After Chris D'Elia faced several sexual misconduct allegations, he had to be replaced by Tig Notario, who reshot his scenes against a green screen and stunt doubles. Despite all this, Army of the Dead is now screening in theaters.
The synopsis for Army of the Dead reads as follows:
Army of the Dead is now screening in theaters in North America. The film will be streamed digitally on Netflix starting May 21, 2021.
