Is there any chance Agatha All Along may just be what MCU fans ordered in securing the future of the long-rumored Scarlet Witch movie? Well, here's what the Agatha spinoff producer has to say.
Could Scarlet Witch Return to the MCU? Agatha All Along Producer Hints At Answer
The Agatha spinoff wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Kathryn Hahn's charming spin on the harbinger of darkness and singing of the iconic theme song, It Was Agatha All Along in WandaVision.
However, considering Agatha Harkness' close connection to Wanda Maximoff, fans couldn't help but surmise that the spinoff could resurrect the Scarlet Witch somehow to bring her back to the MCU.
Unfortunately, the solo Scarlet Witch movie has yet to update its production, given that there's no confirmation yet on her status in the franchise.
However, Agatha All AlongĀ executive producer Mary Livanos has an answer: "I think you have to ask the Man in the Hat [Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige] about that! [laughs]"
It's quite difficult to ignore the signs, given that Joe Locke's character, 'Teen', who pretty much becomes Agatha's sidekick in the spinoff, has been showing clues about his relation to Wanda.
And for some mystical reason, the letters 'M' and 'W' have been subliminal in some of the production work for it, too.
But really, when has Marvel ever truly revealed plans fans have been wanting to hear?
For now, though, as Livanos detailed, Agatha All Along does share similar qualities with what WandaVision portrayed and then some.
"This show, featuring Agatha Harkness, because she's a witch, celebrates the golden age of fantasy and horror," Livanos shared, the opposite being WandaVision's golden age of television with sitcoms.
If anything, fans should expect Agatha and 'Teen's' story to potentially show easter eggs from the likes of Wizard of Oz and Hocus Pocus.
And what else could they actually end up doing with witchcraft on the MCU show? There's a thinker...
