Following the show's premiere event last night, critics and pundits who watched the first four episodes of Agatha All Along in advance were able to share their first reactions to the series on social media.

Fortunately, the majority of the responses have been positive as they call it "wickedly fun" and a "strong sequel to WandaVision." The horror/supernatural elements and comedic tone were also praised.

Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, and Joe Locke are considered to be the standouts among the cast, but the chemistry of the main ensemble was also singled out.

However, some noted that the pacing was slow at the beginning, but the story eventually picks up in the later episodes and long-time MCU fans will enjoy the easter eggs and connections to the other projects.

This is a promising reception as it is an indication that fans may likely feel the same when they start watching the series this week, and it would be interesting to see whether their reactions will also match the critics' take.

After the massive success of Deadpool & Wolverine, there is a lot of hope that the MCU's momentum will continue in the new series and it looks like that will be the case based on what the early word is.

The first two episodes of Agatha All Along are set to premiere on Disney+ this Wednesday, September 18.
