Ozark Season 4 will finally wrap up the award-winning American crime drama when both parts hit Netflix in 2022. More recently, fans were left in tears after star Julia Garner who played Ruth Langmore shared a heartfelt farewell.
The 27-year-old actress shared behind-the-scenes photos from her time spent on the set of Ozark, throughout the five years she played Ruth Langmore.
On her Instagram post, Garner shared a lengthy farewell message, which read: “It’s been a little over two weeks since we wrapped the final season of Ozark - I’ve been processing a lot.It was beyond hard saying goodbye to so many people I love so dearly, this was a VERY SPECIAL job, and over the last five years we really became family."
She added: “This show has changed my life in many ways. I feel so grateful for the beautiful lifelong friendships I have made on this show."
“OZARK was a magical moment in time, you all inspired me in ways I cannot even express, and I thank you for that,” she said.
“I love you and miss you. And for everyone that watches our show, I can’t wait for you to see the final season, “ Garner concluded.
Thousands of fans on Instagram were moved by her touching farewell message. After all, Garner's Ruth Langmore is a fan-favorite character, and probably the most popular role the actress has played. She won two Emmys in 2019 and 2020 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Ozark, and fans are excited to see Ruth return for the last time when Season 4 premieres next year.
