In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 77, fans discovered the truth about what happened 40 years ago in planet Cereal. Monaito finally told Granolah the truth, and the latest chapter shows a flashback of Granolah's past, and how Goku's father Bardock rescued Granolah, Granolah's mother, and Monaito forty years ago.

Thanks to this revelation, Granolah now knows that Bardock was the reason he survived after his entire Cerealian race and the Namekians were wiped out by Frieza's army and the Saiyans 40 years ago. However, Granolah still wonders what actually happened to his mother (Muezli) since she apparently didn't survive the tragedy of planet Cereal. Monaito continues his story, and reveals her fate.
While Bardock, Monaito, Granolah, and Muezli were able to find refuge, they weren't able to hide for long as the four Heeter siblings were able to find them after Granolah's voice revealed their location. When Elec asked a hooded Bardock why he hasn't killed Monaito, the Saiyan tells the villain that the Namekian has strange power worth checking before killing him.
While the Heeters agreed to spare Monaito, Elec suddenly shot Muezli's chest with his gun, taking her down, and Monaito and Bardock both looked shocked witnessing the murder of Granolah's mother.
When Elec ordered Bardock to kill the young Granolah and take Monaito with them, Bardock did the heroic thing and attacked the Heeters to give them a chance to escape. Bardock was able to hide with Monaito and a sleeping Granolah, but it looks like Monaito is not done telling his story yet as the flashback was cut to the present, giving us a look at what the Heeters are up to before the chapter ends.
Now, fans know how Bardock saved Granolah and Monaito, and how Muezli died. The next chapter will likely show Granolah's reaction to learning about the truth about his mother's death, and how a Saiyan saved him. It's likely that Monaito will continue his story, and will most likely reveal how Bardock, Monaito, and Granolah were able to escape the Heeters 40 years ago.
