The producer of Dragon Ball Daima recently addressed the future of the franchise ahead of the airing of its finale.

As the end of the series is approaching, fans have been wondering whether more Dragon Ball shows will be coming in the future and how the franchise will evolve.

Dragon Ball Franchise Will Continue for 'Decades to Come'

In a recent interview, Dragon Ball Daima producer Akio Iyoku addressed the future of the franchise following the airing of the finale later this month.

Fortunately for fans, they have plans to continue the franchise for "decades to come" and they are brainstorming ideas on how they will move forward once the current series ends.

"Producing anime and games takes time, but we’re steadily preparing for the future. We want to expand the franchise even further…There’s no doubt Dragon Ball will continue for decades to come," Iyoku said.

While the producer didn't share the specific details, it is still exciting for fans as we have an assurance that there are plans to continue the franchise for many years and the Dragon Ball property will remain active despite the incoming conclusion of Daima.

Considering the massive popularity of the franchise for decades, it's not surprising that there are still plans for them to continue it with more projects whether it's on anime or other media.

When is Dragon Ball Daima Finale Airing?

The final episode of Dragon Ball Daima is set to make its Japanese broadcast premiere on February 28. It will be the show's twentieth episode overall.

The episode will be available on international markets the next day on Hulu and Crunchyroll. It will also be made available on Netflix sometime later.

Since there are still a couple of episodes that are yet to air before the finale, the details regarding what fans should expect are mostly under wraps.

"There will be incredible action scenes and unexpected twists. You might think you’ve figured out the plot, but we’ll surprise you. Watching the series again from the beginning may reveal new details!" Iyoku teased in the interview.
