Wizards of the Coast has revealed four more mythic rare Magic: The Gathering cards from Zendikar Rising. The four cards are Scourge of the Skyclaves, Turntimber Sybiosis // Turntimber, Serpentine Wood, Forsaken Monument, and Leyline Tyrant. Check out four of the mythic rares from the upcoming set:
Scourge of the Skyclaves
Death's Shadow's cousin? With all the "Pay 3 life to enter untapped" lands out there, this can be viable in various Constructed formats, or it can be a strong sideboard in Aggro mirror matches where both you and your opponent are losing life early.
Turntimber Sybiosis // Turntimber, Serpentine Wood
This is like Vivien's Invocation that can be a land. Nothing too exciting, and it would suck to whiff with this Sorcery's effect, but it can be great in certain builds.
Forsaken Monument
Here's another card for colorless Commander decks. This legendary Artifact could also fit well in decks that run a lot of small Artifact Creatures like Ornithopter. I wonder if we'll see any colorless strategies that could go well with this card.
Leyline Tyrant
This dragon combines well with Braid of Fire in Commander. Chromatic Orrery in Standard also works with this card.
In addition to these mythic rares, here are the two rare cards recently revealed:
Akari, Fearless Voyager
Zendikar Rising is set to release on September 25, 2020; it will release on MTG Arena on Sept. 17.
