2021 is going to be an exciting year for Magic: The Gathering. During the Zendikar Rising livestream at Twitch.tv/magic today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed the MTG set roadmap for 2021, giving us a look at what MTG expansions are coming next year.
Here's the 2021 set roadmap for Magic:
Here are the Standard sets coming next year:
Kaldheim - a Viking-themed set.
Strixhaven: School of Mages - Its tagline reads: "The most elite university in the Multiverse."
Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms - an official crossover set.
Innistrad: Werewolves
Innistrad Vampires
Note that there will be no Core Set in 2021. I'm excited to see the new worlds of MTG that upcoming sets will feature.
The non-Standard sets include Time Spiral Remastered and Modern Horizons 2.
Wizards confirmed that Time Spiral Remastered will be a tabletop product.
Zendikar Rising is set to release on September 25, 2020; it will release on MTG Arena on Sept. 17.
