The DC Universe may now be under new leadership but fans are still holding out their hope that Zack Snyder could somehow reinsert himself into the rebooted franchise. Currently, the director is busy with his next Netflix offering, the space epic Moon Rebel which comes out in December but it now appears that he still has one more surprise left for his legions of fans.
On his official Twitter account, the director posted a cryptic video hyping up an incoming transmission from Lord Darkseid himself. Intriguingly, the message urges fans to save the dates April 28, 29, and 30. A menacing voiceover is featured in the announcement clip although we're still not quite sure if it's Ray Porter who played the big bad in the Snyder Cut.

As it stands, we don't know what this whole teaser is about but unsurprisingly, fans are beginning to speculate what it could be. In fact, some are suspecting that it could either be related to Justice League getting a brief theatrical run while others think the said dates will mark the return of the SnyderCon.
Of course, there's also some speculation that Zack could be announcing a new DCU project and while that may seem like an impossibility, it's worth mentioning that James Gunn is open to the idea of collaborating once again with the DCEU director. Whatever it may be, we're hoping it's something big.
Meanwhile, Zack Snyder's Justice League is available to stream on HBO Max.
