Why else would Sheldon, Missy, and Georgie have to adjust to a new living arrangement if their parents won’t be taking a break?
This seems like a sound prediction, especially since George has been developing feelings for Brenda.
Even though the patriarch has not acted on his feelings, it’s obvious that he enjoys the time he spends with his neighbor.
George Thinks Of Brenda, Not Mary In Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 3
In Young Sheldon Season 5 Episode 3, George asked one of his colleagues for advice on what he should do for a woman. George’s colleague automatically assumed that George wanted to surprise Mary since they were married.
However, George had Brenda in mind when he asked his colleague what efforts he could do to make a woman happy.
George wouldn’t think of surprising Brenda if he’s not developing feelings for her.
While it is true that George is smitten with Brenda, it’s also possible that his family’s new living arrangement won’t have anything to do with his budding affair.

Missy suggests that Georgie should move into the garage to stay in her older brother’s room. This way, she and Sheldon wouldn’t have to share a room anymore since she’s already going through puberty.
However, the discussions regarding the family’s new living arrangement among the members of the Cooper family will most likely be taxing. After all, they do not always get along.
