The Korean Business Research Institute has thoroughly measured this month’s brand reputation rankings through an analysis of consumer participation, media exposure, social media communication, and community awareness value indexes of 50 entertainers using big data collected starting from December 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022.
The big data of 42,833,928 in January 2022 experienced a 26.14% increase compared to December 2021 with 33,956,275.

Yoo Jae Suk Maintains First Place At The January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings
Variety show star Yoo Jae Suk dominates the January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings for the fifth consecutive month. Yoo Jae Suk accumulated a total brand reputation index of 2,792,762. This was a 7.63% increase in his score compared to December 2021 with 2,594,795.
After winning the grand prize at the 2021 MBC Entertainment Awards, Yoo Jae Suk managed to record “entertainment awards,” “COVID-19,” and “positive” as his high-ranking phrases. While his highest-ranking related phrases include “award,” “recover,” and “return.”
Lee Kyung Kyu Rose To Second Place At The January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings
Closing in at second place in the January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings is Lee Kyung Kyu. The veteran host and MC accumulated a total brand reputation index of 1,550,811, a dramatic 133.34% increase compared to his brand reputation index in December 2021.
Lee Kyung Kyu is currently hosting the second season of Golf Battle: Birdie Buddies alongside Lee Seung Gi and Lee Seung Youp.

Amazingly, Moon Se Yoon settles at third place at the January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings. The popular comedian and TV personality received a total brand reputation index of 1,463,390. This was an impressive 236.05% increase from his brand reputation index of 435,473 in December 2021.

Singer and TV personality Kim Jong Kook ranked fourth place at the January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings with a total brand reputation index of 1,433,225. Although this was a 27.20% decrease compared to his brand reputation index in December 2021, it was still an applaudable feat remaining at the top four.
On the other hand, genius singer-songwriter Lee Sang Min ranked fifth place at the January Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings. Lee Sang Min received a total brand reputation index of 1,424,466, which was a 3.18% increase compared to his brand reputation index in December 2021.
