The '90s cast of Yellowjackets Season 2 has wrapped filming, actress Melanie Lynskey revealed on Twitter.
The series follows a group of high school soccer players from New Jersey who, in 1996, were involved in a plane disaster while en route to a tournament. After being separated from the rest of the team for nineteen months, the survivors' struggles to stay alive are chronicled on the show, along with the characters' day-to-day activities in the present.

Yellowjackets Season 2 Young Cast Wraps Up Filming
Lynskey made the announcement on Twitter that filming with the young actors was complete.
“Sorry to be sappy but the 90s cast of Yellowjackets wrapped yesterday and we all sat and watched episode 201 together… and other than my siblings, I have never felt this level of pride and respect and adoration for a group of people,” she wrote. “I can’t believe their talent and their hearts.”
In a follow-up tweet, she thanked the entire ensemble for their "hard work and brilliance."
The first season was an immediate success with viewers and reviewers alike; it now has a perfect critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes and continues to generate buzz among viewers on various social media sites.
Seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations have been given out for the Ashley Lyle- and Bart Nickerso-developed series, including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nods for Lynskey and Christina Ricci.
The renewal of Seasons 2 and 3 is hardly surprising given that Season 1 averaged more than 5 million weekly viewers across platforms, making it the second-most streamed series in Showtime's history as a network.
What’s Known So Far About Yellowjackets Season 2
Yellowjackets Season 2 features an ensemble cast that includes Lynskey and Sophie Nélisse as the adult and teenage versions of Shauna, Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown as Taissa, Ella Purnell as Jackie Taylor, Steven Krueger as Ben Scott, Warren Kole as Jeff, Christina Ricci and Sammi Hanratty as Misty, Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher as Nat, Lauren Ambrose, and Liv Hewson.
From little we've seen of Season 2's marketing thus far, it doesn't look like the girls have it any easier this time around. In fact, it appears that characters like Misty and Natalie will increase the series' emphasis on psychological tension.
