It looks like the second season of the Inuyasha spin-off will be returning a lot sooner than expected. Yashashime: Princess Half-Demon Season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in October this year.
The announcement comes from the show's official website which reveals that Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Part II will begin broadcasting in Fall 2021. Since the fall season usually starts in October, this could mean that new episodes will be released in the same month.
For now, the Yashashime: Princess Half-Demon Season 2 release date has not yet been announced. However, there is a possibility it will be confirmed in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
The first season of Yashashime: Princess Half-Demon saw Sesshomaru's daughters Towa Higurashi and Setsuna teaming up with Inuyasha's child Moroha. Season 1 concluded with Setsuna suffering from a fatal blow from Lord Kirinmaru.
This would explain why Towa is the only one who appears in the key visual released for Yashashime: Princess Half-Demon Season 2. However, there is still a possibility that she will team up with Moroha yet again.
The premise of Yashashime: Princess Half-Demon Part II has not yet been announced but there are speculations that it will focus on Towa's journey and how she accepts the Tenseiga that Sesshomaru had passed on to her.
Yashashime: Princess Half-Demon Part II has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, the second season is expected to be available on Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu via Viz Media soon.
