Latest News: Yakuza Fiance Anime to Stream on Crunchyroll
Ahead of its premiere, the Yakuza Fiance anime is now confirmed to stream on Crunchyroll. The announcement was made at the Crunchyroll Industry Panel at Anime Expo, along with a new visual highlighting the two protagonists.
Crunchyroll is set to bring the upcoming romance anime to international viewers in regions such as North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Yakuza Fiance will likely arrive in its original Japanese version with English subtitles, but an English dub may also be announced once the anime premieres.
Yakuza Fiance Unveils New Visual and October Release Window
Yakuza Fiance is an upcoming romance and seinen anime that was first announced in October 2023.
So far, there’s no promotional video released for the anime, but the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of the series have unveiled a key visual, showing the main characters of the series, from Yoshino Somei to Kirishima Miyama.
There’s no word on the exact release date of Yakuza Fiance, but it’s likely to come out in the first or second week of October when most anime typically release their debut episodes.
If so, the pilot episode of the anime is expected to drop between October 1 and 6 or October 7 and 13, assuming there will be no delays in production and schedule.
Yakuza Fiance: A Romance and Seinen Anime about a Yakuza Princess and a Yakuza Grandson
At the heart of Yakuza Fiance are Yoshino Somei and Kirishima Miyama, two young people who suddenly found themselves betrothed to one another.
While Yoshino is referred to as Osaka Somei’s yakuza princess, Kirishima is the Miyama crime family’s twisted yakuza grandson.
Due to a truce between the two families, Yoshino and Kirishima are arranged to marry soon!
