Wolf Like Me Season 2 is underway, thanks to Peacock's renewal of the show. The series, starring Isla Fisher and Josh Gad, explores the growing romance between a single father named Gary (Gad) and a beautiful woman named Mary (Fisher) who happens to be a werewolf.
Wolf Like Me Season 2 will see more challenges for Gary and Mary
NBC Universal has already confirmed that Wolf Like Me Season 2 will be released. Season 2 will star Fisher and Gad again, according to Abe Forsythe, the series' creator, executive producer, and director.
“We are over the moon that Wolf Like Me’s unique and high-stakes love story resonated so strongly with Peacock viewers,” Susan Rovner, Chairman, Entertainment Content, NBCUniversal Television, and Streaming said.
“Josh and Isla’s critically-acclaimed performances in this beloved romantic dramedy were exquisite and we can’t wait to see what Abe Forsythe and our partners at Made Up Stories and Endeavor Content come up with for season two.”
Executive producers Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, and Steve Hutensky guarantee that the next installment will throw additional curveballs at Gary and Mary.
What to expect in Wolf Like Me Season 2
One of the stakes mentioned by Forsythe is Mary (in her werewolf form) battling a bunch of bandits who threaten Gary and Emma in their broken-down automobile at night.
Although Gary, Mary, and Emma appear to be unharmed the next morning, how the three deal with the legal and emotional fallout from this tragedy will have to be shown in Wolf Like Me Season 2.
Aside from that, because Mary is pregnant with Gary's child, upcoming episodes will include a ticking clock element, which should generate a new dynamic between the characters.
Wolf Like Me Season 2 release date
