Among the character tropes featured in Wind Breaker, fans observe that one specific trope found in most shonen anime is absent from the series. Rather than complaining, many find it refreshing that Wind Breaker does not feature this character trope.
TV Tropes had a list of the character tropes in Wind Breaker, from the non-action guy trope that is Nirei Akihiko to the tsundere character that is Haruka Sakura.
If one scans through it, they'll see that Wind Breaker is unlike any other shonen or delinquent anime because of this missing character trope.
Wind Breaker Has No Perverted Character Trope
Unlike other shonen or delinquent anime, Wind Breaker does not have any perverted main characters that constantly want to go on dates with girls, peep into girls' locker rooms, or incessantly chase girls they encounter on the street.
While there are characters with girlfriends in the series, the author does not place much importance on them. Instead, the other characters would just state that this character has a girlfriend, and that was it.
In one manga scene, Mitsuki Kiryu goes on a fake date with a girl because he is concerned about her. He led her into a cafe, where his classmates were hanging out.
Strangely, Kiryu's classmates didn’t shower the girl with compliments because they were more interested in learning how Kiryu asked her out. This shows how the series tries to avoid compromising situations.
Interestingly, there aren't many girls in Wind Breaker, which may explain why a perverse character is unnecessary.
Inserting one into the story at this time would appear forced, so it was wise that Satoru Nii did not include a perverted character in the series.

No Perverted Character Trope Means No Sexual Fanservice in Wind Breaker
Wind Breaker has a different interpretation of fan service. It’s not about girls; rather, it’s about the over-the-top action scenes, exaggerated displays of the characters' powers, elaborate battles, and character interactions to please the audience.
In other words, the fan service in Wind Breaker doesn’t objectify women. There are no unnecessary panty shots, breast physics, skimpy outfits, or characters placed in suggestive, compromising positions at all.
One of the female supporting characters, Kotoha Tachibana, is not even used for fan service purposes in the series.
Instead, she has an important role in pushing the main character’s development in the series by making him realize a lot of things about other people’s actions and decisions.
