What to Expect in Magic 8 Ball TV Series from M. Night Shyamalan

According to Deadline, Shyamalan and Mattel announced that they are working on a live-action TV series adaptation of the Magic 8 Ball toy.
The project will "reimagine the classic Magic 8 Ball as the centerpiece of a high-concept, character-driven supernatural drama that blends psychological intensity with cultural intrigue."
Shyamalan will serve as the co-showrunner, executive producer, and director of the series. American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk also serves as co-showrunner, executive producer, and writer.
The director wrote in his caption in the announcement post on his Instagram post, "Been working on this for a couple years… Who’s in?"
In case you're not familiar, Magic 8 Ball is "a fortune telling tool that has made its way into popular culture as a game or novelty item. It is designed to bring an actual billiard ball to mind, being black, shiny and round, and featuring a number 8 – but also a circular section where you can see your answer."
