Will there be another The Terminator movie? Well, it looks like James Cameron is considering rebooting the action franchise.
This was revealed by the director himself on the Smartless podcast. According to Cameron, discussions are currently taking place.
āIf I were to do another āTerminatorā film and maybe try to launch that franchise again, which is in discussion, but nothing has been decided, I would make it much more about the AI side of it than bad robots gone crazy.ā
Although Cameron was "reasonably happy" with the turn out of Dark Fate, the director wishes to bring back the original Terminator stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton.
āI think the movie could have survived having Linda in it. I think it could have survived having Arnold in it, but when you put Linda and Arnold in it and then, you know, sheās 60-something, heās 70-something, all of a sudden it wasnāt your āTerminatorā movie, it wasnāt even your dadās āTerminatorā movie, it was your granddadās āTerminatorā movie. And we didnāt see that.ā
