Anime characters with amnesia can be difficult to understand. One of them is Kaname Kei, who turned from a baseball aficionado to a perverted and simple-minded high school student. As the story unfolds, will Kaname ever get his memories back in Oblivion Battery?
Who Is Kaname Kei in Oblivion Battery?
Kaname Kei is regarded as the commander, an unflappable catcher with intellect. He and Kiyomine Haruka formed the strongest monster battery in middle school, destroying the dreams of all young baseball players.
Initially, Kaname struggled to play baseball with his childhood friend, Kiyomine. Back in Little League, he frequently claimed that practices and training were exhausting and that he would die in the process.
He lacked courage, yet he continued to play baseball for Kiyomine. In Hoya Senior, Kiyomine transformed for the better, as if he had a baseball awakening.
His experience as a starting catcher taught him how much fun baseball can be. He then started keeping a notebook in which he inputs data from their opponents in order to evaluate their play and win.
In addition, he grew strict with Kiyomine with the intention of pushing him to become Japan's top pitcher.
