Plot details are still being kept under wraps for the Barbie movie, however, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu, Sex Education and Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera and Michael Cera are reportedly casted in the upcoming movie.

Despite the highly anticipated live-action film, Margot Robbie admitted how ‘mortified’ and ‘humiliated’ she feels upon looking at the leaked set photos of her and co-star Ryan Gosling.

Though the live-action came strikingly different across Will Ferrell vs. soon-to-be Barbie star Margot Robbie, it is questionable as to why the leading actress would feel ‘mortified’ towards starring in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie adaptation.

Margot Robbie’s live-action Barbie movie is set to be released on July 21, 2023. Meanwhile, Will Ferrell stars with Ryan Reynolds in Spirited, which was released in selected theaters on November 11.
