Blake Lively's lawyer, Mike Gottlieb, confirmed to People that the actress is expected to testify in the upcoming trial with Baldoni next year.

"Yes. The ultimate moment for a plaintiff's story to be told is at trial. We expect that to be the case here [with Lively]. So we would, of course, expect her to be a witness at her trial. Of course, she’s going to testify," he said.

Gottlieb also revealed that there are other figures who will also testify in the trial in support of Lively's claims.

"There are individuals that were witnesses to or experienced misconduct that is relevant to Ms. Lively's claims. We expect their testimony, particularly about what took place on set, will come out through live witness testimony," he shared.

However, when asked about whether Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, will also testify, the lawyer revealed that it's still uncertain and they are moving to dismiss the claims from Baldoni's countersuit, where Reynolds is also named as a defendant.

He said, "Our belief is that they’re frivolous." If the claims are dropped, Reynolds "may or may not be a fact witness."

Blake Lively Reflects on Her 'Intense' Year

During her guest appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers last week, Lively addressed the "intense" year that she had due to the controversies.

While she didn't directly discuss her legal drama with Baldoni, she reflected on the challenges that she's been facing and why she is fighting.

"What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life, and I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design," Lively said.

"It’s what keeps us silent. But I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak. So I do feel fortunate that I’ve been able to, and as a woman, you have the ability to use your voice – that’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It’s a pretty simple thing."
