Long-time Hollywood couple Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb have been in a relationship for 18 years, and yet they are still not married to this day.

Some fans have been wondering why they haven't decided to walk down the aisle despite being a couple for almost two decades. Now, we finally know why, and it's not the reason that you might think.

Why Are Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb Still Not Married After 18 Years?

While co-hosting Today with Jenna & Friends recently (via People), Bibb was asked why she and Rockwell have not decided to get married after 18 years. She revealed that it was her personal choice not to get married.

"Listen, I love Sam Rockwell. I would put him in my pocket and carry him with me all the time. I love him. I do not want to get married," The White Lotus star said. "I feel like we are married!"

Bibb shared that Rockwell brought up the possibility of marriage earlier in their relationship, but she shot it down.

"It annoyed the crap out of me because he's like, 'Really, you don’t want to get married?' I was like, 'Stop saying it. I already said I don't want to marry you. Stop asking me like I’m gonna pull like a sneak on you.' But he didn’t want it either," she recalled.

"Maybe it’s probably something about the way we grew up, but I feel like if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it."

In addition, Bibb also revealed that she and Rockwell have no plans to have children together since she never had a desire to become a mother.

How Did Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb First Meet?

Rockwell and Bibb first started dating in 2007 when they met at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

"We had that kind of thunderbolt, like 'Dream Weaver' moment in Wayne’s World when we saw each other. I found out that she studied in the same acting school that I did, so that was really handy," Rockwell recalled their first date when he joined Bibb and Bush Hager later in the show.

He recognized Bibb from her role in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, while Bibb found Rockwell to be "really cute."

"It’s good, you were single, you were ready to mingle," Bibb told Rockwell. "And then I just put my little claws in you, I put my talons in and I said, 'No, you’re mine.'"

Rockwell quipped, "And they’re still in."

Recently, the couple co-starred together in the third season of The White Lotus, although they didn't share any scenes together.
