The Bachelor fans have noticed that Kelsey Anderson has not been wearing her engagement ring recently which prompted some speculations about the latest status of her relationship with Joey Graziadei.
The couple has been engaged for several months now and has no plans yet to walk down the aisle anytime soon. Graziadei was also busy recently with his participation in the latest season of Dancing with the Stars.
Kelsey Anderson Explains Why She is Not Wearing Her Engagement Ring
In a recent TikTok post, Anderson set the record straight and addressed why she decided not to wear her engagement ring publicly.
She assured fans that her relationship with Graziadei remains intact and there is a practical reason behind her choice to not wear the ring all the time.
"I’m just not wearing it, and you know what that means? It means I’m still engaged because it’s literally just a symbol. I don’t all of a sudden take it off and [I’m] not engaged," The Bachelor star explained.
She added that she also noticed "excess wear and tear" as a result of wearing the ring all the time.
"I’ve been trying to practice taking care of it better and putting it away whenever I get home or whenever I’m working out," Anderson continued.
"I kind of warped it a little and have to get it fixed because one of the diamonds came out because of how I was taking care of it before. So now I’m trying to be more responsible."
Anderson concluded, "I know I’m in a public relationship and that’s why people are like ‘What?’ But it’s all good in the hood over here."
When is Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei's Wedding Day?
Earlier this month, Anderson provided an update on her wedding plans with Graziadei and when they are planning to walk down the aisle.
She confirmed that they won't get married this year and it will likely take place around next year as they want to spend more time getting to know each other.
"I’m really excited to start planning it. We are planning it in the next six months. We’re not getting married this year, possibly next year or the following, because we got engaged so fast, we got engaged in two months," Anderson explained.
"So we want to really take our time still getting to know each other and be really serious about the wedding, and we don’t want it to be a stressful thing. We want to be able to enjoy the process of picking out the things that matter most to us in our wedding."
