Vincenzo is a dark comedy-drama created by Studio Dragon, directed by Kim Hee-won, and written by Park Jae-bum. The K-drama aired on tvN from February 20, 2021, until May 2, 2021, every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM KST.

Viewers entirely poured their admiration and love for the series, with its first episode receiving a nationwide rating of 7.7%. As of writing, Vincenzo is the 9th highest-rated drama in the history of Korean cable television.

What is the plot of Vincenzo Kdrama?

Vincenzo depicts the life of the young Park Joo-hyung who is adopted by an Italian family and later joined the mafia. He is then adopted by Don Fabio, the head of the Cassano mafia family, and is renamed, Vincenzo Cassano.

Vincenzo becomes an Italian lawyer and consigliere for the mafia but right after Don Fabio passed away, his biological son, Paolo, attempts to take the life of Vincenzo.

Why did Vincenzo go to South Korea?

Vincenzo had to flee away from Italy to escape his death. He chose to go to South Korea not only because it is his hometown, but because he has to recover something important.

With the help of his friend and right-hand, Mr. Choi, Vincenzo went back to Korea to set on a mission to retrieve the 1.5 tons of gold that a deceased Chinese tycoon he helped in the past left secretly hidden under the busy land of Geumga Plaza.

However, it was not as easy as they thought it was. As Vincenzo tries to reclaim the building, the tenants of Geumga Plaza stood on their feet and defended their rights to the building. To have everyone's trust, Vincenzo joins forces with the tenants of Geumga Plaza with their fight with Babel Group.

Eventually, the tenants found out that there is gold hidden under the building. Hand-in-hand, they fought injustice and moved forward to bringing the tons of gold from the basement and hide them in unsuspicious places.
