Does Nobara Kill Mahito?
Unfortunately, Nobara does not kill Mahito, and it is heavily implied though not confirmed that she does not survive their fight.
Toward the end of the Shibuya Incident arc, Mahito creates a body double of himself to target Nobara.
Having had no moment of glory throughout the incident, Nobara is all too gleeful about fighting him.
While her strategy initially seems to work, injuring Mahito's soul and forcing him to retreat, her attempt to keep pursuing him is her downfall.
Ultimately, Mahito replaces his body double with himself and mortally injures Nobara with his Idle Transfiguration.
Does Yuji Kill Mahito?
Yuji has every reason to want Mahito dead, but he isn't the one to give the villain the final blow.
The two fight more than once, most recently after Mahito kills Nanami. At that point, Yuji is traumatized from the havoc Sukuna has wreaked all over Shibuya.
This, along with his grief for Nanami, makes it hard for him to be effective in the fight.
After Nobara gets mortally injured in front of his eyes, Yuji and Todo fight Mahito again.
Once again, Mahito survives, especially since Yuji's priority is to take away Nobara, hoping she may be healed.
However, Mahito is significantly weakened before the end.
So, Who Killed Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen?
If you're wondering who killed Mahito, the answer may surprise you: it was actually Pseudo-Geto, his supposed ally.
With Mahito significantly weakened from his battle against Yuji and Todo, Pseudo-Geto utilizes Suguru Geto’s cursed technique, Cursed Spirit Manipulation. This allows him to first seal, and then absorb Mahito.
Why Did Pseudo-Geto Kill Mahito?
Despite his supposed alliance with cursed spirits and curses, Kenjaku, the ancient sorcerer who possesses Geto's body, also known as Pseudo-Geto, considers curses inferior.
Consuming them increases his own power, and if the price is losing devoted allies, he's willing to pay it.
While Mahito's death will be satisfying for some viewers, as it's a consequence of his choice to ally with Pseudo-Geto, others would have preferred for him to be killed by one of our heroes, after all that he put them through.
