Netflix just recently dropped Lookism, one of the most anticipated Korean anime series. It stars Park Hyeong Seok (Daniel Park), an overweight and short man who wants to find his place in the world. Lookism is an eight-episode Netflix ONA released on December 8, 2022. It was supposed to be released earlier, but it was postponed to honor the victims of the Halloween Itaewon crowd asphyxiation tragedy.
Lookism, as the term implies, refers to people's assessment of someone's beauty and attractiveness and whether they meet their standards.

Park Hyeong Seok did not find love in Lookism because he simply does not have the time. Instead of hanging out with Ha Neul or anyone else in his class, Hyeong Seok chose to hang out with Deok Hwa and Ji Ho.
