Marvel may have a bad habit of ditching their villains after one movie, but Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness has managed to sneak herself into the leading role of a spinoff series with Agatha All Along.

Though Agatha is the central character of the series, she’ll be accompanied by a group of other unique witches who will form her ‘coven,’ Marvel Studios has released a featurette that gives a good look into each member and their specialty.

Meet the Members of Agatha’s Coven

Though WandaVision ended with Agatha losing her memories and getting trapped in Westview, the show's start will have her getting saved from the curse by a mysterious teen (played by Joe Locke). The new preview from Marvel gives a basic rundown of the whole ensemble and how they function in the coven.

Though it seems that all of these characters had been created for the show, most are established magic users in Marvel comics—save for one mysterious member.

“Teen” (Joe Locke) – The one who breaks the curse on Agatha, this ‘teen’ has somehow been cursed so he won’t be able to reveal his identity to Agatha, but all the fans are already sure that he’s Billy Maximoff a.k.a. Wiccan, the son of the Scarlet Witch and the Young Avengers’ resident magic user.

It looks like Billy could be searching for his mother as well, but he will need someone to help him navigate his powers—and that’s why he decides to help Agatha and set her free.

Lilia Calderu (Patti LuPone) is said to be a master at divination with occasional visions. In the comics, Lilia Calderu has connections to Doctor Strange’s nemesis, Baron Mordo.

Alice Wu-Gulliver (Ali Ahn) is said to be a witch who specializes in protection spells, consistent with her former role as a police officer. In the comics, Alice was also a cop, and she hid her powers with her guns and weaponry.

Jennifer Kale (Sasheer Zamata) – An expert on potions in the show, Jennifer was also a character from the comics that made her debut back in the 70s. In the comics, she is more of the typical comic magic user and was said to have been a member of Midnight Sons, and she even had connections with the X-Force.

Mrs. Hart in Agatha All Along

Mrs. Hart (Debra Jo Rupp) – A character that was introduced as one of Wanda’s victims in Westview. By how the featurette is framed, it looks like Mrs. Hart was just a regular human in the group to fill in for a ‘green witch’—a role that has yet to be defined. Either way, Debra Jo Rupp is a comedic delight and should be a source of many laughs among all the dark sorcery happening.

Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza) – An unexpected member of the coven who looks to be an actual ‘green witch,’ Rio Vidal isn’t any known character from the comics, but the casting of Aubrey Plaza should be a hint on how important the character is.

It does seem that green witches could be trouble, so Agatha decides to just bring in a fake one with Mrs. Hart. Based on what the previews show, Rio seems to be above everything and is causing all kinds of mischief.

Some speculate she could be the Mother of Demons, Lilith, or Marvel’s Enchantress (who is also green-coded). Maybe she could be another Loki variant, but too many of him are already running around.

Fans will just have to wait and see until the series comes out. The first two episodes of Agatha All Along will premiere on Disney+ on Sept. 18.
