Are There Plans for More Seasons of Top Gear?
So far, there are no plans yet to revive Top Gear anytime soon following its cancellation in 2023. The last episode aired in December 2022.
There were plans to do a 34th season of the series. However, Freddie Flintoff was injured in a crash during filming. As a result, the BBC announced that Top Gear will no longer return "for the foreseeable future."
Aside from apologizing to Flintoff, they said that they remain "committed to Freddie, Chris [Harris], and Paddy [McGuinness], who have been at the heart of the show's renaissance since 2019, and we're excited about new projects being developed with each of them. We will have more to say in the near future on this."
