New episodes of Newlyweds air live on NBC on Friday nights starting October 23, 2026, before they start streaming new episodes the next day on Peacock, starting on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 6 AM ET. Unfortunately, the show has not been picked up by streaming services outside of the US.

What Makes the Newlyweds Sitcom Different from NBC's Comedy Lineup
.webp?width=700)
While NBC built its sitcom legacy on workplace chaos and young twenty-something friend groups, Newlyweds carves out an emerging identity on the network's slate.
Rather than focusing on coming-of-age relationships, Newlyweds explores love, marriage, and the domestic compromise among mature adults who already have established careers, habits, and past histories, highlighting and catering to "later-in-life romance."
Stars Téa Leoni and Tim Daly bring authentic on-screen chemistry after building it over years of working together on Madam Secretary and their off-screen relationship, giving the comedic dialogue a natural flow, considering their real-life romance and being newlyweds themselves.
Co-created by Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis, Newlyweds blends sharp humor with fast-paced comedic set pieces, introducing single-camera humor into a multi-camera sitcom format.
Legendary sitcom director Pamela Fryman (How I Met Your Mother) directs the pilot to give the production a hybrid approach that allows physical gags and marital friction to thrive in a theatrical setting that still stands distinct from conventional network comedies.
