Is There a Sequel to Hoppers in the Works?
Pixar has not officially announced a sequel to Hoppers. However, the film's strong critical reception, impressive audience scores, and successful worldwide box office performance have fueled speculation that Pixar could revisit the franchise in the future.
While nothing has been confirmed, fans remain hopeful that Mabel's adventures in the animal world may continue in a future film, Disney+ series, or spin-off project. And the forecast looks promising, as director Daniel Chong has confirmed there is significant internal desire to create a sequel.
Moreover, Bobby Moynihan, who voices the character King George, admitted he has had an idea for a potential sequel, with the idea to do the opposite of what the first film did. He explained that George should "hop into a human body, because Mabel is running for mayor against Mayor Jerry, and he's going to be her campaign manager".
