How Much Does the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Anime Cover?
The hour-long finale episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War concluded in the Fall of 2022 and ended with Chapter 542 of the manga entitled The Blade is Me. Part 1 covered the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, which will be continued in Part 2 of the anime.
Bleach TYBW Part 1's finale makes way for the second part that is coming in July 2023.
Where to Start Reading the Bleach Manga After the Anime
After finishing Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 1, fans can start reading the Bleach manga from Chapter 543, entitled Letters. Here, Yhwach has announced to the Sternritter that Uryu Ishida will carry the baton as his successor.
At the same time, Ichigo successfully reforged Zangetsu into two separate blades and was able to dual-wield them.
Elsewhere, in Silbern, Uryu walked toward Yhwach who was sitting on his throne. Uryu was dressed in Sternritter uniform.
Yhwach welcomed Uryu as his son and invited him to join the battle.
However, several Sternritter are enraged that Yhwach selected a stranger to become their next leader. After the announcement, Bazz-B is seen visibly upset.

The Sternritter start to argue that Jugram Haschwalth was supposed to be the next leader as he was the fittest to be called Yhwach’s successor.
Eventually, Uryu asks Yhwach why he chose him to be his successor. He adds that because of his announcement, there was tension brewing among many Sternritter.
Yhwach is pleased as he doesn’t want sheep following him. Eventually, Uryu understands Yhwach's decision and hopes to do his best for his master.

Fans are expecting that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2’s pacing would match the manga’s pacing as much as possible.
