The hit anime series My Dress-Up Darling is slated to return with its highly-anticipated season 2 that will continue Wakana and Marin's journey.
The first season aired back in 2022 to huge success. Since then, fans have been clamoring for the series to continue with a new season or a sequel series, especially as the manga is still ongoing.

What is My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 About?
In case you're not familiar with the premise, My Dress-Up Darling is about a young man named Wakanda who's passionate about crafting traditional dolls. Due to past trauma, he's hiding his skills from his surroundings.
However, one day, his cheerful gal classmate named Marin learns about his craft. Instead of mocking him, she's pleading with him desperately to help her create her cosplay costumes.
So far, the plot details regarding season 2 of My Dress-Up Darling are still under wraps as production is still ongoing at the moment.
The first season notably covered the first five volumes of the manga so we can expect season 2 to start with Vol. 6 onwards. Fourteen volumes have been published so far.
Recently, a live-action drama adaptation of the manga aired in Japan which was produced by Kyodo Television and broadcast on MBS.
When is My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Coming Out?
So far, there is no exact release date set yet for My Dress-Up Darling season 2. However, it's been confirmed that it is slated to premiere somewhere in 2025.
While we don't know yet when it will exactly come to our screens, it is exciting that a release window has finally been set so fans can start their countdown for the series.
It is also unknown yet whether it will be streaming on Crunchyroll, where the first season is currently available in the international market.
Nevertheless, it is a relief for fans that the anime will continue next year and hopefully, it will live up to the entertainment value of the first season.
