When Is The Streaming Release Date For The Super Mario Bros. Movie?
Currently the biggest animation movie with the highest opening box office record is The Super Mario Bros. Movie which brings everyone back to Mushroom Kingdom as Mario and his friends go out to an adventure to save the world from Bowser's army.
The hype lives up to the expectations on The Super Mario Bros. Movie given its positive reviews, thus, a lot of viewers are asking where and when will the movie be streaming online, and whether there would be a digital release for the film.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be available to purchase on May 16, 2023, at 12 AM EST, on various platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Video, Vudu, and Microsoft Store.

It is possible that The Super Mario Bros. Movie would be out online by July this year and given that it would be available on Amazon Prime Video for purchase soon, the same platform could be where it could come out when it streams.
Other than Amazon Prime Video, Universal also has an agreement with Netflix and Peacock where they would share their animated movies to the streaming platforms.
However, the release on these streaming platforms would not be simultaneous.
On Peacock, The Super Mario Bros. Movie could possibly come out in late June or early July, and it could only come out on Netflix four months after it comes out on Peacock which means it may happen on October this year.
Given those, to be able to prepare for the arrival of The Super Mario Bros. Movie on the streaming platforms, one should have a subscription on either of the three.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a collaboration between Universal Pictures, the distributor of the movie, Nintendo, the producer of the famous game franchise, and Illumination, the production studio.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie follows the brothers Mario and Luigi who are Brooklyn plumbers.
With the line of their work, while they are fixing an underground pipe to fix the main one, they are transported through a mysterious pipe leading them to the Mushroom Kingdom.
There, they meet the various inhabitants of the new world where they are in for a new adventure.
Unfortunately, The Mushroom Kingdom is in deep trouble so they have to save it.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been filled with Easter eggs from the game where it is based on.

Spoiler-free tip: stay until the very last second of The Super Mario Bros. Movie because there are two post-credits scenes in the movie.
The first one is a mid-credits scene just after the animated credits and before the traditional one, and the other being at the very end of the film which could potentially lead the movie to The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2.
