After 12 seasons, it looks like the world of The Big Bang Theory is not yet over as a news of a spin-off show was revealed.
And no, we're not talking about Young Sheldon, the prequel spin-off show from the same universe that already has six seasons to date.
We're talking about another The Big Bang Theory spin-off show, one that will be released on HBO Max.
When Is the New The Big Bang Theory Spin-off Show Coming Out?
Show creator Chuck Lorre revealed that the second spin-off show is currently in the early stages of active development.
The announcement was made during Warner Bros. Discovery's press day, when the two unveiled their new platform. When the show comes out, it will be available to stream on Max.
As of this writing, however, a release date has not yet been announced.
What Is the New The Big Bang Theory Spin-off Show Story About?
Right now, there is no word on what the new spin-off show could be about. But it's possible that it could be another origin story of one of the main characters of the show. It would be interesting to see a Young Leonard story this time around.

Along with the plot details, the casting information on this new spin-off show has been kept under wraps. Variety, however, revealed that the show will have a fresh cast.
There's also some talk of the original characters to make a guest appearance in one of the episodes.
