UFOs, K-Drama, and comedy: these three don't normally belong together but there's always a first time for everything. Netflix is gearing up to release its new comedy K-Drama series that (yes) involves UFOs. Here's what you need to know about Glitch, an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original comedy-thriller written by Jin Han-sae and directed by Roh Deok.
Glitch K-Drama Release Date
Right now, Glitch K-Drama is in its post-production stage. But thankfully, Netflix has already announced the release date for the new series.
The cast and crew started filming in May 2021 and wrapped up by December 2021. Ever since then, the show has been in post-production.
Once it releases on Friday, October 7, 2022, Glitch Season 1 will have a total of 10 episodes. Each of these episodes will have a runtime of approximately 60 minutes.
Glitch K-Drama Story
The official logline of Glitch Season 1 on Netflix reads:
"A young woman joins forces with a UFO enthusiast to investigate her boyfriend's sudden disappearance and stumbles into a wild conspiracy."
This is pretty interesting since we've never seen something similar to it. The show will be about Hong Ji-Hyo (played by Jeon Yeo Bin) as she enlists the help of a UFO-watching club assistant (played by Nana) to look for her missing boyfriend. Since she comes from a wealthy family, this doesn't stop her from using her connections to locate her boyfriend of four years.
In the poster announcement, there's a photo of a woman standing over a crop circle formation drawing underneath what appears to be a streetlight. The woman is looking up towards the glowing lights. The caption on the image reads: "My boyfriend has disappeared from Earth."

The actors/actresses confirmed to be part of Glitch Season 1 include the following:
