Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender is officially scheduled to premiere globally on Saturday, July 25, 2026, exclusively on Paramount+.

The animation was originally pencilled in for an October 9 theatrical release, only to switch it to streaming last December.

The newly released two-minute trailer gives us our best look yet at an adult Aang (voiced by Eric Nam) alongside Katara (Jessica Matten), Sokka (Román Zaragosa), Zuko (Steven Yeun), and Toph (Dionne Quan).

The Avatar Aang movie follows the titular air nomad as he struggles with being the final survivor of his people, only to discover an ancient Airbender named Tagah (voiced by Dave Bautista) who might hold the key to saving his culture from permanent extinction.

Why the Animated Film Did Not Land in Theaters
